What Medicare and your Toilet have in common.

We recently received an email from a client named Rich.

He said:

“I remember when I was newly married. My wife and I lived in a small two-bedroom house near downtown Chicago. It was nothing fancy, but we were proud of it because it was ours.

The first few years were hard while I was building my business and trying to fix things around the house when they broke.

My first home improvement project happened when our main toilet in the house broke. I thought about paying a plumber to come to fix it, but instead, I decided that I could do the same job.

I bought a book on fixing toilets and set aside my weekend to tackle the project. After spending all day Saturday and Sunday on the toilet, I finally had it fixed. I called my wife into marvel on my accomplishment. She was very impressed but then said, “Rich, I’m so glad you fixed the toilet, however the toilet wobbles on the ground. Can you fix it, so it doesn’t move when we sit on it?”

She was right! I spent my entire weekend fixing the toilet based on instructions, but it still wasn’t done.

I remember thinking to myself, “Why didn’t I just hire a plumber to come in to do it? What took me my whole weekend likely would have taken a trained plumber less than an hour. “

That’s how Medicare is. I can do the research and spend hours putting it together, or I can have someone who is an expert and does this day in and day out and make my life easy.”

If you are like Rich and would rather pay an expert to work on your problem to save yourself valuable time, then the Medicare Coach is for you.
