Have you ever wondered where Medicare employees or insurance agents go to find answers to their Medicare questions?
There are a few different places where they can find Medicare answers, but during one of my recent workshops, I had five attendees who were either Medicare employees or insurance agents.
My workshop is geared for 64-year-olds about to join Medicare, so I always find it interesting to have insurance agents and Medicare employees on my workshops asking questions.
The reality is that Medicare is so confusing, so it doesn’t surprise me that insurance agents come to us for answers too.
Insurance agents know a lot about the insurance companies and the pricing and bonuses included in plans. Still, they may not know all of Medicare’s different rules and the options available for your unique situation.
This is the same with Medicare employees. They may know the general processes and rules of Medicare, but many do not know the detailed answers to unique situations that so many beneficiaries have.
So by both of those parties coming to us, it’s a middle ground to help everyone understand how Medicare works and what the rules are to help people as they approach Medicare who are going through the system on their own.
Unfortunately, there are so many places out there where anyone can get Medicare information, but a lot of the time, it’s biased and unclear.
This is why our clients come to us and love what we do. We are unbiased in our recommendations, and we know how both sides of the Medicare game work. We simplify Medicare, and we have all of the answers in one place.
My advice to you is to please be mindful of these things as you approach your Medicare decision and do your research by getting answers from more than one resource.
